Södertälje Piercing is part of Spicy Collective in central Södertälje. We do all types of piercings – including dermal piercing – with sterile single-use needles and jewellery in implant-grade titanium and gold.

Piercings in Södertälje
From your first lobe piercing to a septum: these are the piercings we do at Södertälje Piercing. We discuss in person which placement suits your anatomy.
Ear
Helix
On the outer cartilage rim of the ear. Subtle and elegant – single or as a row.
Forward helix
On the front cartilage rim where the ear meets the head. Especially nice with small studs.
Conch
In the shell-shaped centre of the ear. Plenty of room for an individual stud or ring.
Flat
On the flat cartilage below the helix – a calm area for statement tops.
Tragus
Through the small cartilage nub right in front of the ear canal.
Industrial
One bar connects two piercings in the upper ear cartilage – usually across the helix.
Rook
Through the inner cartilage fold in the upper ear, above the tragus – usually with a curved barbell.
Daith
Through the innermost cartilage fold right above the ear canal – classically with a ring.
Face & body
Nose
On the side of the nostril – classic with a stud or ring.
Septum
Through the soft spot of the nasal septum below the cartilage.
Lip
Around the lip – with a flat disc on the inside.
Tongue
Through the centre of the tongue, with a straight barbell.
Eyebrow
Vertically at the eyebrow, usually with a curved barbell.
Navel
At the upper rim of the navel, with a curved barbell.
Dermal piercing
A microdermal anchor set directly in the skin – from 18.

Jewellery & materials
Your starter jewellery stays in the fresh piercing for weeks. That is why we only use materials made for contact with body tissue for new piercings.
Push-pin & internal thread
We do not use externally threaded jewellery: with push-pin (threadless) jewellery the top has a slightly bent pin that is pushed into the bar and held by tension – no thread at all. With internal threads the thread sits protected inside the bar. Either way, only a smooth surface passes through the fresh piercing.
Jewellery change & downsize
We insert new jewellery for you in the studio – hygienically and with autoclave-sterilised material. For the piercing itself we use a slightly longer bar so the initial swelling has room. Once it has gone down, we swap it for a shorter one (downsize) so the jewellery does not snag or press.
Marked with single-use skin markers
We mark the spot for your piercing with a sterile single-use skin marker – a new one for every client.
What we use
- Implant-grade titanium (ASTM F136) – The titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V ELI that is also used for medical implants – nickel-free, light and body-compatible. Our standard for every new piercing.
- Gold from 14 karat – On request: nickel-free gold alloys from 14 K.
- Natural stones – Many of our jewellery tops are set with genuine natural stones.
- Anodised titanium – Titanium can be anodised: an electrochemical process creates the colour from an oxide layer of the metal itself – no paint or lacquer.
What we do not use for fresh piercings
- Acrylic & plastic – Plastics are porous and not meant for fresh piercings.
- Coated or painted jewellery – Paint and coatings can wear off over time. (Anodised titanium is not painted – the colour is part of the metal surface.)
- Silver & costume jewellery – Can tarnish, contain nickel and discolour the skin.

Safety, hygiene and our clients’ wellbeing always come first. We apply the following age limits for piercing in our studio:

Important if you are under 18
- A legal guardian must be present during the visit and approve the piercing.
- Both the client and the guardian must show valid ID.
- We do not accept written permission alone or approval by phone.
- The piercing is only done if the client wants it themselves and we consider it suitable.
We do not pierce during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
We reserve the right to refuse a piercing for safety, hygiene or anatomical reasons, regardless of age.
These age limits are the studio’s own rules and should not be confused with statutory age limits.
